My name is Dave Wallace, and I’m a comic artist and illustrator who focuses on themes of gender, sexuality, and mental health. My favorite medium is alcohol markers.
I first started drawing autobiographical comic strips in 2016 at the recommendation of my therapist, as a way to externalize and examine my feelings. I’ve continued to this day, and at latest count have drawn over 1,300 of them! In that time, my work has connected me to thousands of people around the globe going through the same things I do as we all try to live our lives one day at a time.
I’m originally from the California Bay Area, and currently live in Western Massachusetts.
